I'm Einat, an educational psychologist registered in both the UK and Israel. I work with children, adolescents, young adults, and parents. I view therapy as a collaborative process that fosters deeper self-understanding, whether for yourself or your child, unlocking pathways for growth and improved well-being.
Therapy for Children
Children perceive and understand the world differently from adults, and their way of expressing themselves often depends on their developmental stage and emotional maturity. That’s why therapy with children frequently involves non-verbal methods like play and creative activities.
Therapy for Adolescents
Adolescence is a transformative stage, full of change, increasing independence, and fundamental questions about oneself and others. This can naturally create confusion and difficulty, and when combined with previous challenges or complex relationships, it can lead to distress.
Individual Therapy
We all carry a collection of beliefs, thoughts, and emotions shaped by our personal histories. These can sometimes lead to stress, feeling stuck, anxiety, or strain in our relationships. In therapy, we create a safe, non-judgmental space to explore these thoughts and feelings together.
Parents Consultation
Parenting is perhaps the most exciting, challenging, and sometimes confusing journey we undertake. As parents, we naturally want to do our best, but it can often feel unclear what the "right" approach is. In parents consultation, I help you discover what works best for your family.
Consultation and Support during Times of Change
Life is full of changes. Some are exciting, like relocation or the birth of a sibling, while others, such as divorce or loss, are more difficult. Whether sudden or planned, by choice or thrust upon us, periods of change create instability for the whole family. As adults, we recognize these times as periods of overload, emotional complexity and uncertainty, but know that preparing for change can often ease the transition. For children, change is often beyond their control, but with the right support — by mediating the change for them, preparing them for transitions, and providing emotional support — their adjustment can be smoother, and the experience more positive. If you are facing a significant change or have recently gone through one and feel that you or your family need support in navigating it, I am here to help you through the journey.
